Software used: EQuest, DOE-2, and Trace.Small growing company (currently 53 person) engaged in sustainability services for the building industry. The professionals within this company are architects, interior designers, mechanical and civil engineers, and urban planners.Our projects include a whole range - from offices to hotels, from aquariums to airports. Many are signature buildings. Some are expensive and state-of-the art in technology, while some are on a tight budget. Many of the projects are in the Northeast and some are on the west coast. They do all types of buildings - small, 10,000 sqft or so to very large - over 2 million sqft.You will perform energy modeling, and if interested you will also have connection to commissioning.Qualifications:Experience with energy modeling for two years minimum (DOE-2, EQuest or similar)Attention to detail and a keen interest in the field is needed - during the first 6 months you will need to do some studying, since many of our projects are not routine. Our client, a leading international company in the outsourced media testing sector, is currently recruiting for German speaking Games Testers to assist them in proofreading and quality assurance in a game testing environment.
The Role:
The German speaking Proof-Reader will test pre-released games with the aim of proofreading the online text, bug reporting and highlighting any errors in the relevant language so that these may be amended prior to the official release of the game
This is a `freelance` role, as it is project based work, yet we must stress that it is strictly office based, as you will be handling confidential material.
This is an exciting role for those passionate about the gaming or translation sector or wishing to gain valuable experience using in proofreading.
Candidate Profile:
-Fluent to native level or equivalent in German with excellent written language skills
-Good attention to detail and quality in their work
-Good general PC literacy is a must

The Company:
Our client is a well known company in the technology and software industry. They have offices worldwide and are a leader within the industry. They are currently looking for a Spanish and English speaking Technical Architect based in Spain, Madrid.
The Role: The person will be responsible for providing pre and post technical sales and will involve the design and development of software applications and the implementation of these software solutions. There will be a high degree of travel involved, up to 4 days per week as it is a very much client facing role. This role will be working from Madrid and be responsible for the whole region.
Candidate Profile:
The role requires someone with a strong design and development background who enjoys customer facing roles and displays a quick thinking approach to integrating software. Skills wise - the person is likely to have a strong background in C++ or Java development with object data (ideally .Net) experience. The successful candidate will have a proven application development experience and strong leadership skills demonstrated by project management responsibilities. The person will need to show a proven ongoing involvement with the design and coding of complex applications. The candidate needs to have an understanding of the business considerations of application development, support and deployment.
Candidate should preferably have 5 years or more experience in the following:
-Object technologies
-Relational database concepts, SQL, ODBC and JDBC
-Web technologies including XML, HTML, Java, Java- and VBScript
-User interface environments such as Visual Basic, PowerBuilder, Delphi
-Operating Systems including Windows NT/95; UNIX and Open VMS
-Exposure to system languages such as C, C++, shell scripting
